Poor Sami Zayn went from looking like an absolute indy darling to a legitimately down on his luck loser, in both his wrestling career and visual presentation. Although he is the current Intercontinental champion, Zayn feels like a shell of the wonderful worker that he used to be and sports a pathetic cheater gimmick that doesn't do any justice for the former El Generico.

Swapping out the cool tights with unique - and clearly sentimental - designs on it took away a sense of the pro wrestling look that he captured so well. Now with the cargo pants and black boots, combined with unkempt hair and an entrance jacket that looks like it came from a vintage shop he doesn't look like a WWE performer, but rather a backyard wrestler.

While this may be a deliberate effort to break the traditional mould of a WWE champion, it simply isn't a good look, and seeing him venture to the ring in what looks like lazy street clothes has fans everywhere pining for the days of old.
