10 Best Babyfaces In NJPW
6. Ryu Lee

A regular from CMLL throughout the years, a lot of people see Ryu Lee as a member of the New Japan roster in the same respect they give to their own.
From the moment he stepped onto Japanese soil in 2016 for his New Japan debut at Fantastica Mania, Lee has embraced everything the country and company have to offer.
He often tries to speak Japanese in his post-match comments, and goes into the crowd and lifts children onto his shoulders, which is a crowd-pleaser for sure. During last year’s Best of Super Jr tournament, he even came out with masks inspired by a then injured crowd favourite Hiromu Takahashi, which made fans love him even more
Lee also has this style that crowds, whether it’s in Japan or those watching on New Japan World, are drawn to. For someone so young, Lee has mastered this high flying, dangerous and captivating style similar to the likes of Will Ospreay.
Ryu Lee has the ability to make the crowds cheer for him, and turn the crowds against his Japanese opponents. Even after failing to win the Junior title from Hiromu Takahashi earlier this year, the fans continue to show their appreciation to Lee and will hopefully be seeing a lot more of him in the future.
