It's well-known by now that Vince McMahon wouldn't tell Ted DiBiase about his brilliant 'Million Dollar Man' character until Teddy signed on the dotted line with the WWF. During those negotiations, McMahon and Prichard took a plane trip between shows, and Vince was left incensed by a gentleman smoking behind him.

He'd been in the middle of explaining what DiBiase's new "Everybody's Got A Price" catchphrase meant.

After politely being declined upon asking if the man would stub out his smoke and refrain from relighting, Vince decided to offer him cold, hard cash. The amount was fairly high. "I'll give you $100 to put that out, pal", proclaimed the WWF leader. Again, he was rebuffed.

Bruce Prichard couldn't believe what happened next. McMahon eventually offered the guy $500 in $100 bills to stop puffing away. This time, the gent agreed, and Vince peeled off the money in front of him with a smile. Then, he turned to Bruce and said, "everybody's got a price, eh pal?".

Genius.
