10 Best Big Man/Little Man WWE Tag Teams

Sometimes David & Goliath work together.

There's nothing quite like two wrestlers joining forces to form an unstoppable team. From The Undertaker and Kane, to Shawn Michaels and Triple H, WWE has seen its fair share of tag team royalty, and these duos have taken part in some of the company's greatest storylines.

There have been plenty of big man/little man units too. A smaller competitor aligning himself with a larger man results in a unique balance being created - one that is perfect for in-ring action. The big guy can do all the heavy lifting and use intimidation tactics on his opponent, while the smaller competitor can perform the agile manoeuvres - the type that his partner cannot. Sounds like a match (pun intended) made in heaven, right?

We've seen plenty of big man/little man tag teams in WWE over the years. Some you'll instantly recognise, while others are perhaps not as fresh in your brain, but that doesn't diminish their impact on wrestling. It was certainly hard to narrow it down to a mere ten, but in the end, these are the ones that we'll be talking about for years to come.

10. The Big Show & Rey Mysterio

When it comes to big man/little man pairings this one is so obvious that it was amazing that we had to wait until 2013 to see it. WWE’s ‘Ultimate Underdog’ Rey Mysterio formed an alliance with ‘The World’s Largest Athlete’ Big Show towards the end of the year.

However, after their failure to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships at TLC, they quietly went their separate ways which, considering the tenure of both men at this point, was rather surprising. Big Show always seems to thrive in a tag team, so pairing him with another main-eventer like Mysterio could have benefited both of the directionless superstars while breathing some life back into the tag team division.

Even though it was short-lived and without a title win, Big Show and Mysterio’s alliance was worth it just to finally see this David and Goliath-like pairing working together – and what an awesome sight it was.
