10 Best Booked Wrestlers In WWE Today

8. Nia Jax

Kofi Kingston Becky Lynch
WWE

Nia Jax's name appearing on a list praising well-booked wrestlers will provoke shrieks of revulsion from some sections of the commentariat, but drawing heat is supposed to be the purpose of a pro-wrestling heel. WWE have finally found a way to use Jax as a way to draw genuine, building-shaking disgust from their audience. Therefore, she is one of the best-booked wrestlers in the company.

It all stems from one of this sloppy worker's most dangerous moments. Breaking Becky Lynch's face was the best thing that could've happened to Nia Jax. Suddenly, 'The Irresistible Force' was the most detested wrestler in the promotion, having deprived fans a potential blockbuster bout between Lynch at Ronda Rousey. A very real, very serious situation continues to reap kayfabe rewards today, and whether you like her or not, Jax is now a more effective villain than at any other point in her WWE career.

It doesn't matter that she's a subpar performer, nor that she's drawing what many would call "the wrong kind of heat." Nia is being positioned in a way that benefits herself and the babyfaces she's placed against. That's good booking, and that her and Tamina have been positioned as a middling tag act means Jax is no longer the loathsome spotlight-hogger she was for much of her tenure.
