If you're basing this list solely, and I mean solely, on how a strong a team was booked, DX takes the top spot. Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels possess generous (though strongly worked for) lists of accomplishments, and the 2006 reunion was certain to see both men booked as virtually infallible, while selling many neon-green glowsticks along the way. While it was sometimes irritating seeing Michaels and Helmsley treat their heel opponents like the hapless henchmen of old Batman villains, the two always seemed to deliver in big matches, particularly against The McMahons, Legacy, Rated RKO, and Jeri-Show. While their comedy skits skewed toward moronic, their work wasn't, and it was refreshing to see main event-caliber tag team wrestling again.
