10 Best British Wrestlers Ever

6. Nigel McGuinness

Nigel Mcguiness Often regarded as a hugely important figure in British wrestling, Nigel McGuinness makes this list fully on merit. His career in Ring of Honor was outstanding, and he is the longest reigning ROH Pure Champion to date, having held the belt for 350 days in succession. As well as that, he held the ROH World Championship for an incredible 545 days back in the mid-2000s. A move to Total Nonstop Action followed, where he competed under the name Desmond Wolfe. There, he feuded with the likes of wrestling legend Kurt Angle in his early days, before going on to form the tag team London Brawling with fellow Brit Magnus. Unfortunately, injury curtailed his career way too early, but McGuinness is a British wrestling legend for his actions in Ring of Honor alone.
