Martin Kirby is high on life at the moment. Having successfully deleted Pacitti Club at WCPW Loaded #18 (with Broken Matt Hardy's assistance, of course), Kirby now rules the roost as General Manager. Only the man himself knows what kind of zany direction he'll take WCPW in in 2017, but we'll soon find out when WCPW hits Liverpool for KirbyMania on January 5th.

Kirby has become WCPW's most popular wrestler, and this was his star-making performance. After weeks of shenanigans, Loaded #7 was the night Kirby finally got serious. Sure, the match featured some of his usual antics, but you don't go toe-to-toe with a man like Will Ospreay unless you're legit, and Kirby proved himself more than worthy of facing the Aerial Assasin.

Kirby scored a huge upset with his roll-up victory, but both wrestlers looked great throughout. Ospreay eventually took a villainous turn, and scammed his way to victories in his next two matches with Kirby, but none of the events that followed can take the gloss off this match. This was the night Kirby proved that he's so much more than a comedy jokester, and served as a stark warning to those who refused to take him seriously.
