7. The MJF And Jericho Tag Team
Maxwell Jacob Friedman has been on a fast track to superstardom ever since he joined AEW and immediately started antagonizing the audience with his fantastic promos. His in-ring work has only continued to improve to the point where every single match he has feels special. MJF's feud with Chris Jericho helped solidify his status as the future of the promotion, with their tag team being a particular highlight of the long-term storyline.
Once MJF joined the Inner Circle the next logical move was to have him turn on Jericho, turning the faction face in the process. The teases of the split were great, as was the eventual reveal of The Pinnacle, but the tag team run of MJF and Jericho was also stellar.
The tandem faced off against a number of young teams such as the Varsity Blondes, Top Flight, and the new AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed, before challenging the Young Bucks for the titles at Revolution 2021. Jericho and MJF were unsuccessful and would split soon after but the short-lived run as a unit was great and would have merited a title reign.
