10 Best Chris Jericho Moments In AEW

2. Stadium Stampede

Throughout the pandemic, fans were looking towards wrestling as a much-needed outlet from the horrors of day-to-day life, even though the sport probably should have shut down in the wake of the global health crisis. AEW's Stadium Stampede was perhaps the greatest achievement throughout this period of wrestling as it provided the levity everyone needed at the time and was legitimately one of the most creative matches ever.

Chris Jericho was at his absolute best in the match and was the most entertaining part of it. There were a number of notable spots from the 'Demo God,' including the iconic Judas Effect elbow on the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot. His decision to put a plastic cone on his head and let off a witch's cackle before being super kicked into a net was also fantastic.

The match was a huge over-delivery and worthy of the main event, which was sadly not able to be recreated in its sequel a year later. Faction warfare in AEW did not get any better than The Elite versus Inner Circle feud of 2020, which peaked during the Stadium Stampede match.
