While nearly all of their historic battles took place in Ring Of Honor, this match was one of the few times that these heated rivals met outside of their home promotion. However, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla did not present a hotly anticipated singles matchup. Instead, Bryan teamed with longtime independent star Christopher Daniels to do battle with Joe and his partner of Ricky Reyes. Unfortunately, this contest won’t go down in the history books as one of the all-time greats, but that’s not to say it should be written off.

All four men competed to the best of their abilities in a solid tag team contest. While Joe and Reyes did their best to hold back the approaching tide of offense from the opposing team, they were ultimately unsuccessful. By the time the bell rang, Christopher Daniels and Daniel Bryan stood triumphant -- adding another small notch in Bryan’s belt when it came to victories over Samoa Joe.
