10 Best Debuts In WWE History

4. The Undertaker

The Undertaker was like nothing WWE fans had ever seen before. His size, presence, and unearthly vibe made him truly unique, and he’s since gone-on to establish one of the most impressive resumés in wrestling history after making his debut all the way back in 1990.

Ted DiBiase was putting a Survivor Series team together, and with himself, The Honky Tonk Man, and Greg Valentine already confirmed, The Undertaker appeared as the group’s mystery partner. Fans were breathless as The Phenom made his way to the ring: they were awestruck from the moment they first laid eyes on him, and The Undertaker’s aura endures to this very day.

While his incredible legacy adds context to his debut, ‘Taker’s first appearance was an earth-shattering event in itself. Just one minute into the match, Koko B. Ware felt the wrath of The Undertaker’s very first Tombstone Piledriver. He was quickly eliminated, and after running through Dusty Rhodes for a second elimination, The Undertaker was on-fire.

His team went on to win the match, and The Undertaker was presented as a near-invincible force throughout. Neither Koko, Bret Hart, nor Jim Neidhart could so much as nudge The Deadman, and he was instantly set-up as a truly terrifying presence for decades to come.
