10 Best Ever Excuses For Losing A Wrestling Match

5. Dana Brooke Doesn't Stand A Chance

Dana Brooke accepted the open challenge to the WWE locker room of Ronda Rousey midway through the 'Baddest Woman On The Planet's raging Road To WrestleMania, but - seemingly with the knowledge of how well it would go for her - made her excuses before the former Raw Women's Champion kicked the living sh*t out of her just as she'd forecast.

Stifling a gut-wrenching wobble in her voice when she could, Brooke ironically spoke with some confidence about her...total lack of confidence against Rousey.

"I'm not gonna let you disrespect the WWE Universe" was a strong enough start, but "I might not be some big time fighter..." was the start of her taking more steps backwards despite the forward ones bringing her closer and closer to the ring and an utter pasting from the former UFC killer.

It was a rather unique way to cover what was effectively a squash, and in another place and time probably should have gotten Brooke over to a greater extent than it did. Well-respected behind the scenes for her diligence and effort to improve, this was something of a missed opportunity, despite her trembling disposition.
