10 Best Ever Excuses For Losing A Wrestling Match

3. The STATE Of The United Kingdom

Zack Sabre Jr's silky smooth in-ring style is informed by his remarkably passive demeanour in and out of the ring. He's ultra-confident (often to a cocky fault), and rarely loses his cool at the risk of losing a match. His mind, and all the incredible submission attempts it conjures up, requires the stability. So too does his country, not that it's getting any at the moment.

A United Kingdom bitterly divided by Brexit and a dangerously incompetent Boris Johnson-led government causes many of us on this part of the world daily disconcertion, but the situation has now become so dire that ZSJ himself has completely lost his cool with an authority he utterly despises.

What had previously been reflected by his "I fight with my brain and an underlying hatred of the British Conservative Party" t-shirt has since exploded onto screens as he's quite literally lost his mind over it, blaming all the seemingly endless decay on his multitude of G1 Climax defeats and recent Royal Quest British Heavyweight Championship loss to Hiroshi Tanahashi. His promos have been hilarious too, despite the dark and maddening truths at the roots of his rants.
