Leading up to their match at WrestleMania XIX, the story was that Chris Jericho had grown up idolising Shawn Michaels. Patterning himself after the Heartbreak Kid, the Canadian star now wanted to prove himself against his hero. The story was heartfelt, and the match ended up being a modern classic.

After over 20 minutes of quite brilliant wrestling, Jericho lost to the man he had watched for years as a child. The pair embraced in the middle of the ring, and that's when things turned sour. Suddenly, Jericho decided to plant a kick right to Shawn's groin, throwing away the emotion and turning things bitter.

In a moment that proved Michaels to be a master of the subtle, he fell into Jericho's arms. The student then dropped his teacher, and fans booed wildly in Y2J's direction. Even though the match went on early at 'Mania, that kick is still remembered as one of the biggest moments from the entire show.
