Per Fightful Select, there's some extremely encouraging news about AEW's Will Ospreay.

The Aerial Assassin was last in action at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August, where he was in the main event Lights Out Steel Cage bout. Ospreay's team may have been victorious over the Death Riders and Gabe Kidd on that night, but, post-match, Will was brutally attacked by those heels as a way to write him off TV. In reality, the former AEW International Champion required neck surgery, with serious questions raised over his in-ring future.

Now, Fightful reports that Will Ospreay has been working out in the ring before AEW shows, and things are looking "very promising" for not just Ospreay to return to the ring, but for him to be back and at "the level he was competing at before". In terms of a timeframe, the outlet has heard of a possible Spring return for the 32-year-old Brit, and there's clearly hope that he'll be involved in a major way at AEW All In on August 30th - a PPV that takes place from London's Wembley Stadium.

During the Billy Goat's absence, AEW has been running vignettes detailing his road to recovery. And by all accounts, it sounds like that recovery is going well, complete with Will's fiancée Alex Windsor previously stating that, while it's been a "struggle" at times, he's been "absolutely smashing it."

As ever, continued best wishes to Will Ospreay on his recovery from all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling.
