10 Best "Everything You Know Is A Lie" Moments In Wrestling

1. Sami Zayn Makes A Choice

From one dramatic cage conclusion to another, four decades might have separated Michael Hayes favouring the heels from Sami Zayn, but contextually they don't feel too far apart.

In scenes Triple H will surely submit as evidence that he can do this job longterm (even if he insists on making Johnny Gargano dance around in a cowboy hat and the continued presence of Hit Row), Zayn chose The Bloodline over his relationship with Kevin Owens to ensure Roman Reigns' wishes were met and the heels succeeded at the Survivor Series.

The WarGames main event proved crucial to the future of WWE's best programme in what will now be a relatively quiet period - rather than offering up the surprise of the Samoans finally brutally turning on their "Honorary Uce", the company instead presented the bond between them as tighter than ever.

Pulling the rug out from under Owens and breaking everybody's hearts in the process, Sami's choice will haunt him in the end, but the eventual realisation that water was thicker than blood will only make the Canadians' win over The Usos at WrestleMania all the sweeter.
