10 Best Fatal 4-Ways In WWE History
1. Bret Hart Vs Stone Cold Vs Vader Vs Undertaker (IYH Final Four, 1997)
There are a few things that make this match WWE's best ever four-way bout.
First, the line-up. Many matches have featured multiple former world champions, but few can lay claim to three of the industry's biggest ever stars and - in Vader - arguably the best never to wear the big one.
The stakes were also ridiculously high. Shawn Michaels had just vacated the WWF title due to injury, and with a little over a month to go until WrestleMania 13, the winner would almost certainly be headlining the Grandest Stage of Them All (except he didn't - since Bret Hart, who won, lost the title the very next night on Raw).
What gives it the edge over the rest on this list, though, was the added stipulation that competitors could be eliminated by being thrown over the top rope, which made it much more exciting than your average near-fall-fest.
