10 Best Fatal 4-Ways In WWE History
6. John Cena Vs. Shawn Michaels Vs. Randy Orton Vs. Edge (Backlash 2007)
Another Backlash, another fatal four-way.
This time it was John Cena and Shawn Michaels - who, together, headlined WrestleMania 23 the previous month - joined by Randy Orton and Edge, whose short-lived Rated-RKO stable was threatening to implode.
A line-up of four of the company's biggest ever stars (and, it could well be argued, four of its best ever wrestlers) promised - and delivered - a spectacular match and one of the best multi-man encounters we're ever likely to see.
The only thing it lacked was genuine unpredictability. Cena was absolutely nailed-on to retain his title, given that Edge and Orton were really just re-establishing themselves in the main event and the moment to give Shawn Michaels his swansong title run had been and passed.
