10 Best Female Superstars Of The New Era

1. Charlotte

When Charlotte claims that she’s “genetically superior”, the evidence would suggest that she’s right. She is one of the most athletic superstars on the main roster of either brand. Even her ring entrance would be impossible for most people to replicate.

Yes, her dad is Ric Flair. Yes, that’s a big deal. However, Charlotte deserves every accolade and every title she has ever won through her own natural talent and hard work. It would be foolish to claim that her lineage has absolutely nothing to do with her in-ring career, although she’s hardly the first female with a famous family name (Natalya probably has the biggest wrestling pedigree on the roster).

Charlotte has big shoes to fill; even her music echoes Ric Flair. Despite this, she has shown that she is a star in her own right. Whether charisma and athletic talent are genetic is a consideration for another list, but Charlotte has shown that she is both astonishingly athletic and a reliable worker who, among a litany of superstars who have been put on the shelf due to the injury this year, has stayed consistent. Long live the queen.

Stephanie Lim lives in London and has been watching wrestling since she was 4 years old, which is longer ago than she would like to admit. Her favourite wrestler of all time is Shawn Michaels, her favourite current wrestler is Kevin Owens, and she will always regret being too young to push her way through the crowd to shake Bret Hart's hand at a WWE event in 1993.
