8. Figure Eight (Charlotte)
When 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair accompanied his daughter to ringside for her matches, many cried out that the legend was overshadowing Charlotte. A bombastic personality, Flair is often the focal point whenever he appears on screen, a fact that made it difficult for Charlotte to stand out on her own merits.
Even though Ric has now been removed from her side in front of the cameras, it's impossible to imagine that Charlotte won't always have some elements of her father's act in her own work. If nothing else, the Figure Eight is a direct tribute to Ric's infamous Figure Four submission hold.
Showing off her gymnastics background, Charlotte locks on the Figure Four before bridging up into an athletic pose, in theory putting further pressure on an opponent's legs. Smoothly performed, the Figure Eight is a wonderful allusion to her heritage, but also has enough of a tweak that it becomes synonymous with Charlotte all at once.
There's no denying that the Figure Eight looks impressive, and Charlotte comes across as dominant when she locks it on.
