9. Chris Jericho Vs. Shawn Michaels - 2008
WWE.comIt's one of the best feuds in WWE history. This match was in the early stages of the rivalry with Jericho doing everything he could to piss off Michaels, who was tremendous as the babyface that kept on fighting back. The psychology of the match was amazing because they did something different by having Michaels bleed from around his eye. Remember that Jericho threw Michaels head first in the Jeritron TV screen, so they continued the eye injury story for this match. Jericho threw an elbow, then Michaels came up bleeding and Jericho attacked the eye like a vulture. They had a 19 minute match that Jericho ended up winning after the ref stopped the match due to the bloody eye of Michaels. It was great storytelling that put over Jericho as a vicious heel that would do anything to win while Michaels kept on fighting back until he couldn't fight anymore.
