The Tables, Ladders, Chairs, and Stairs pay-per-view is regarded as one of the worst pay-per-views of latter day WWE, and perhaps the only match from the card to be free of scorn was its opener. Harper had won the belt days after the previous entry, and Ziggler was given a high-profile rematch at one of WWE's favorite gimmick pay-per-views.

Naturally, it was a ladder match.

Harper continued his run of impressive showings in 2014, flinging himself through the ropes onto Ziggler and a ladder (nearly breaking his own wrist in the process). Both men bled to different degrees during what was a hard-hitting match, one that saved TLC&S from being a unanimous disaster, instead of the near-unanimous one that it decidedly was.
