10 Best Internet Reactions To Last Night's WWE Raw (May 21)
Not even Stephanie, Kevin or Seth could put Roman over.
After taking over London last week, WWE moved on to Albany, NY for what promised to be another exciting episode of Monday Night Raw. But as we've come to expect from the WWE's flagship brand, what they promise and what they deliver are two entirely different things altogether.
Yes, it was another poor episode for the show. Roman Reigns featured heavily, which is never a good thing, and the creative team somehow managed to drag the brilliant Seth Rollins into the Big Dog's storyline, in yet another futile attempt to get the Samoan over. Not that it worked out too well, obviously. Moreover, we were witness to a Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley segment that was without a doubt one of the worst in recent memory.
But it wasn't all bad. The return of Stephanie McMahon was certainly one of the show's better moments, as was Seth Rollins' victory in an impromptu tag match opposite Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal.
As is always the case, the WWE Universe took to social media to voice their opinions on what they enjoyed and — perhaps more importantly — what they didn't enjoy about this episode of Raw.
No matter how uneventful Raw proves to be, following along with the fans always makes it more enjoyable.

Raw's General Manager Kurt Angle opened the show, and he received a pretty good reaction from the audience as he made his way to the ring. Angle cut a promo about how Raw has been on a roll lately. Not sure what show he's been watching, but that's a matter for another time. Before he got to finish his point, Stephanie McMahon's music hit and the woman herself made her way to the ring.
This is the first time Stephanie has been on screen since the Raw after WrestleMania, so there was bound to be some sort of hostility between her and Angle. But the commissioner of WWE told the GM that there were no hard feelings on her part over. However, this didn't stop her from putting down Angle's accomplishments, and she told him that he could be doing a better job. She's not wrong.
Stephanie's promo was a new and unexpected way to open Raw. Well, within the context of the last four weeks, anyway.
