10 Best Macho Man Randy Savage Matches

3. Randy Savage Vs. Bret Hart (Saturday Night's Main Event) - WWF 1987

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z976fLWo3lc It's 1987. We're still three years away from Bret Hart's first major singles push in the WWF, but were just one month removed from Hart, his tag team partner Jim Neidhart and the Honky Tonk Man putting the beatdown on Savage so badly that Miss Elizabeth had to call in Hulk Hogan for the save (leading to the formation of the Mega Powers tag team). This is the return match featuring not the "Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all Time," but rather Bret Hart getting a wild hair of some sort up his butt and having an incredible one-on-one encounter with Randy Savage. Savage sells the leg here and you're led to believe he's in peril for about half of the match. It's one of those times where you really get the full scope of Savage's considerable in-ring takents and is an absolute must-appreciate encounter.
