10 Best Moments From WWE’s Worst Performers
5. Mojo Rawley's WrestleMania Moment
Mojo's random Intercontinental Title shot against Seth Rollins on the 7 May episode of Raw showed that, when in there with the right workers, Rawley can excel. He's someone who's been held back by a cheesy gimmick adults might find challenging to embrace and the fact his team with Zack Ryder was blighted by injuries.
Still, at least he can look back on WrestleMania 33 in Orlando and consider that his 'Mania moment.
A clear example of WWE's erratic booking style, that André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal win should have been a launching point for Mojo's main roster career as a singles star. Instead, he ousted Jinder Mahal with the help of NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski and then watched as Mahal clinched the WWE Title just a few months later.
It was a sweet moment for Rawley, albeit one tempered by WWE's refusal to do anything meaningful with him as follow-up. Since that win, Mojo has faded into the background and barely wrestles on television in 2018. WWE have lost faith and/or interest, for some reason.
