In 2016, Will Ospreay and Ricochet had a match that split the wrestling world right down the middle. The exhibition of athleticism drew gasps of wonder and groans of annoyance alike. Some said it was the perfect display of wrestling as art - others said it was a gymnastic circle jerk.

In 2017, the two rivals went at it again as a similar controversy engulfed the wrestling world. High flying was once again in the dock, as wrestlers and sports entertainers alike argued over whether there were too many dives in wrestling or not. In this atmosphere, two of pro wrestling's foremost high flyers went one on one again.

Ricochet and Will Ospreay are magic in the ring, but the atmosphere that surrounded this match added a whole new element to their rivalry. Ricochet tried to ground Ospreay early on, and he may have been buoyed by his initial success. You can't keep Ospreay down for long, though, and the Aerial Assassin was soon taking to the skies.

Ospreay successfully got Ricochet to wrestle Ospreay's match, and once again it proved to be Ricochet's downfall. Ospreay hit a particularly awe-inspiring Dragonrana, and the man from Essex picked up the win once again by hitting the Oscutter. This was another incredible match between two of the planet's best pro wrestlers, regardless of size.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
