Dolph Ziggler won Money in the Bank in 2012 and held onto his briefcase until the night after WrestleMania. He cashed in on Alberto Del Rio, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship.

Due to an unfortunate concussion, Ziggler missed a couple of months then drop the title back to Del Rio when he could finally wrestle again at Payback 2013. Exercising his rematch clause, Ziggler challenged Del Rio to win back the title.

These two are great at what they do so this match was a treat to watch. Alberto kept targeting the head of Dolph like a smart, ruthless heel should. The ending definitely hurt what could have been a classic as AJ smacked her Divas Championship into Del Rio's face.

The fallout of the match saw Ziggler lose in a non-title match to Del Rio thanks to AJ again. This time she offered a distraction by striking the ring bell. Dolph and AJ would on-screen breakup as Ziggler exited from the title scene.
