Because Sheamus of course, didn’t pucker up and he didn’t kiss Ziggler’s “arse”. The beard-braided bruiser decided to catch Ziggler with a low blow instead, before laying him out with a Brogue Kick for good measure.
Knowing full well what the audience’s response would be, Sheamus then asked if the Illinois faithful were entertained by his heinous actions.
All in all, it was a smart way for Sheamus to use the somewhat ridiculous match stipulation to get some actual heat from the crowd. The Irishman’s sarcastic rendition of Maximus’ quote from Gladiator only intensified the vilification that rained down on the Celtic Warrior.
Truth be told though, I actually was rather entertained.
