WWE keeps wanting to get to Cena vs. Undertaker. It may be now or never for them.

Undertaker will be 52 years old by the time WrestleMania 33 comes around, and that’s an incredibly beat up 52 years old. Sting had his last match when he was a few years older, but his body hadn’t come close to enduring the abuse and number of surgeries that Taker had.

In addition to that, so much of Taker’s offense is based on power that WWE is quickly running out of time to feature him in a top role. Imagine even two years from now Taker trying to give Cena a Tombstone at the 15 minute mark in a match. Seems like that might not end well.

Cena and Taker are two of the most iconic wrestlers to ever compete in a WWE ring. While they battled in the past, they haven’t gone to war with the aura of WrestleMania surrounding them. The quality of the match would have been better five years ago, but it’s still a compelling bout that we need to see before it’s too late.
