10 Best Opponents To Face Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam 2016

Perhaps no one on the roster deserves a shot at Brock Lesnar more than Kevin Owens does. The man has been absolutely fantastic as of late, and has excelled in every match and segment given to him. However, WWE seems to be treating him more as a comedy character than an in-ring threat these days, which is a bit of a mistake.

Owens can still look like a total badass in the ring, and despite his physique, he appears to be one of the few people in the company that could legitimately put up a bit of a fight with Lesnar in real life. It probably wouldn’t be much of a fight, but still. But in the wrestling world, Owens could absolutely bring it to The Beast with his powerful offense. Perhaps above all, the mic work with Owens and Paul Heyman would likely be brilliant. They are two of the best talkers in the entire business, and would have a blast laying into each other.

One of these days the company is going to have to get behind Owens again. Much like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, he’s just too good to ignore for too long. A match with Lesnar at SummerSlam, win or lose, would be a big step in the right direction.
