Austin has won a record three Rumble matches; and won the Most Eliminations Award an astonishing four times over the course of only six Rumble match entries (that's a 50% Rumble win ratio and a 66.666% win ratio for the Most Eliminations Awards). Add in two Iron Man Awards and a seriously impressive statistical performance against the rest of the Top 10 (the only category he placed outside of the top four was Entries); and Stone Cold Steve Austin is statistically, hands down, the greatest performer in Royal Rumble Match history. There's an argument to be made that he was the greatest Rumble performer before the stats were referred too; and, with his list of accomplishments and accolades in relation to Rumble matches, you can see why. The Top 10 member that's still active with, arguably, the best chance of closing the gap on Austin, John Cena (Roman Reigns could catch him; but only time will tell), won't come close to Stone Cold's stats before he retires; it wouldn't be unfair to argue that the man to take the top spot from Austin hasn't even wrestled their first Rumble match yet. Who knows; maybe that person is on the NXT roster and may win the right to compete in their first Rumble match this Sunday?
