7. With Tyler Black VS American Wolves (RoH's Tag Title Classic)
Tyler Black is, of course, turning heads on a regular basis these days as Seth Rollins. The American Wolves are now known simply as The Wolves in TNA, and are currently the TNA Tag Team Champions. At this point in Black's career, he was nearly a year away from becoming the RoH World Champion, but was one of the top rising stars in all of wrestling. You could just see big things in his future, and getting to work with Danielson, both as a tag partner and as an opponent, was everything that he needed to raise his game and prove his worth. If you're a fan of tag team wrestling, and wish companies like WWE would let their tag teams loose more often, this is the match for you. The match went 45 minutes, which is something you don't often see in straight tag matches, unless you're watching 1990's All Japan Pro Wrestling involving guys like Toshiaki Kawada, Akira Taue, Mitsuharu Misawa, and Kenta Kobashi. The Wolves, as normal tag partners, got to control things for a large portion of the match, as they should. There were lengthy stretches where Danielson was the "face-in-peril", but also lengthy stretches where Black had to play that role. When one side features an actual tag team, and the other features two singles workers that have feuded off-and-on, it makes sense to book a match that way. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards receive a lot of hate for their "Create-A-Wrestler" looks and move sets, but there's no denying the chemistry they have when they team up. That chemistry was on full display here, and it helped to make the match, with a very hot stretch at the end with believable falls, counters, reversals, and getting the most out of a hot crowd.
