1. The Miz

It may have taken some time, but The Miz really is awesome.

After his WrestleMania 27 main event, the man’s career was in a freefall. He started jobbing to anyone and everyone, and his face turn was a complete disaster. After he went away to film a movie and returned with his Hollywood A-lister act, he’s gone from being perfectly annoying to being on fire, because fans still hate his guts.

As we’ve seen lately, Miz can cut one hell of a promo. He’s absolutely believable as a self-absorbed jerk, and fans love to see him get beat up. He’s an underrated talent, and despite being so good at what he does, nobody cheers him in the arenas. It’s an amazing skill that guys like A.J. Styles, Owens, Jericho and even Seth Rollins are either uninterested in trying, or simply aren't able to do anymore.

Miz may never main event another Mania, or hold a top title again, but right now, there is simply no better pure heel like the days of old than him.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
