7. Eli Drake

“E-Li-Drake! Yeah!” “Dummy. Yeah!”

Drake is basically TNA’s version of The Miz. He’s a bit of a shorter stature wrestler who works a bit of a “safe” style, is entertaining on the mic and has his own talk show. That’s not a knock on Drake at all, as he’s proven to be a great addition to the roster.

Drake cheats to win, he dresses in silly clothes that show off his physique, and like The Rock during his heel work, he won’t let the crowd chant along with him during his catchphrases.

Drake originally joined the company as a babyface in The Rising stable, but he’s just so much easier to hate. If he keeps growing at the pace he has since his debut, he should be one of the top heels in TNA within the next couple years.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
