From Chosen One to musical jobber to indie darling to WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre's wrestling career has been anything but ordinary.

First appearing on WWE TV aged just 24-years-old, Drew was positioned as a future main eventer right from the get-go. However, despite some Intercontinental and Tag Team Championship success, things didn't quite work out.

After a turn as part of the beloved undercard stable 3MB, McIntyre was cut from WWE in 2014. Unphased by his release, Drew then worked his backside off for the next three years to turn this tragedy into a triumph.

He returned to WWE in 2017 a changed man, both mentally and physically. He quickly rose the ranks of NXT, was called up to the main roster, and affirmed his position as a top star when he won the 2020 Royal Rumble and subsequently beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Drew's tenacity and dedication to his dream are admirable and a great inspiration to anyone who suffers adversity. He continues to make the most of his new position in WWE, proving that anybody can succeed if they're just given a second chance.
