AEW can hang their hat on the fact they have some
of the best actors in all of professional wrestling under their umbrella. Eddie
Kingston's ability to convey emotion is one of his best traits, a trait we saw
a lot of during his feud with Jon Moxley.
During the brutal I Quit match and the promos that led into the match all showed that Kingston is unmatched when it comes to showing emotional pain and rage. The moment he went nose to nose with Moxley in the build to the match showcased just how good Kingston is at portraying emotion.
The same happened on the November 5th edition of AEW: Rampage in which Kingston squared off with CM Punk. The emotion oozed out of Kingston as he let out 15 years of pent-up aggression.
However, The Mad King also knows how to work a terrific match and use selling to get over a story. During their run as a tag team, Kingston would often sell his leg to build to a Moxley hot tag. Similarly, during his clash with Bryan Danielson, Eddie sold the hell out of the Triangle Choke, leading to a beautiful moment of passion at the end of the match.
Overall, Kingston might be the most well-rounded performer in AEW, but his selling remains one of his best qualities.
