God's Favourite Champion has developed a unique way of selling in AEW. Miro stated that God gave him "a body of granite and a neck of sand." This has carried over into Miro's matches again and again, eventually becoming the crux of his TNT Championship run.
Throughout his run with the belt, every opponent who faced Miro would figure out a piece of information about the big man. It was Fuego Del Sol who originally found out Miro's weakness by hitting a Tornado DDT during their match. From there, foes like Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara have all utilised DDT's to wound the neck of Miro.
It's an inspired idea from Miro to work this way. He can sell the genuine peril when a move is hit on his neck, much like he did during his Championship match with Guevara. Miro is exceptionally at selling this little weakness, almost like a video game boss. It was a great decision from the former TNT Champion and a trait we hope he carries over through his AEW run.
