10 Best Sellers In Wrestling Today
2. Brock Lesnar
Say what you will about Brock Lesnar, his ability to sell is top tier stuff.
Brock has a unique way of selling in that he doesn't want you to know he is hurt. When most wrestlers sell a leg or arm, they exaggerate it so that the audience knows which part of their body is hurt. This then plays into the later elements of the match and the story.
On the other hand, Brock hides his weakness', much like he would if he was in a real fight. This is something that Lesnar honed during his time in UFC, where he wouldn't want the opponent to know he is hurting. This makes it even more dramatic when The Beast switches gear and starts fully selling a move.
A prime example of this is in his two excellent matches at Survivor Series. Brock sold AJ Style's Calf Crusher like his leg was about to be ripped off. This moment of weakness made AJ look incredible.
The same happened for Daniel Bryan. Brock started turning purple and his eyes were darting frantically when Bryan locked in the Yes Lock at Survivor Series 2018. From there, Brock has continuously put on excellent performances, cementing him as one of the best sellers of the 2000s.
