Finisher theft was extremely common throughout the Attitude Era. For whatever reason, WWE had their biggest stars do it to death, creating a situation where these instances had become so commonplace that it was tough to differentiate one from another. Thus, it took a particularly jarring visual for any example to stick out, but that's precisely what happened at Judgment Day 2000.

Triple H and The Rock fought in the main event. It's widely regarded as one of the period's greatest matches, and rightly so, because while there was much interference from the McMahons and D-Generation X, Rocky's many comeback sequences were truly epic.

Up 5-3 by the end of the eighth fall, 'The Game' was out to humiliate his opponent. He cleared the announce table and set him up for a Rock Bottom, but no - 'The Great One' reversed into a Pedigree. The table didn't break, though: instead, both men bounced off its surface and to the floor, with a groggy Rock slumping into the ring to beat the 10-count.

A late scare for Triple H, but after dropping another fall, he took a fortuitous victory when the returning Undertaker attacked him for a DQ.
