WCW team mates turned bitter WWF enemies, Steve Austin and Brian Pillman starred in one of the WWE’s most controversial segments ever. Pillman initially sided with Austin when he joined the company earlier that year until the Rattlesnake began feuding with Bret Hart. Pillman gradually began to favour the Hitman, prompting an incensed Austin to shatter Pillman’s angle.

Pillman stayed at home in Walton, Kentucky, recovering from his injury when Austin showed up to add some injury to injury. Kevin Kelly and a camera crew were there to capture the action as Austin dismantled Pillman’s friends outside. The Rattlesnake broke in and was greeted by a pistol-wielding Pillman. Kelly and Pillman’s wife, Melanie were terrified, screaming for help as the camera feed cut out.

By the time the transmission was restored, Pillman’s pals were dragging Austin out of the house. Pillman continued to aim his gun at Austin, launching into a profanity-laden tirade as he did so.
