10 Best Survivor Series Teams Of All Time
7. Team Guerrero (Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Big Show, & John Cena)
Rarely does a Survivor Series team feature an entire lineup of wrestlers who are former WWE world champions but the 2004 event had exactly that when Team Guerrero took on Kurt Angle's team which featured Mark Jindrak, Luther Reigns, and Carlito (yeah, we know, it sucked).
But just because the heel side was one of the weakest in history, that doesn't take away from the star power of the babyface side. Eddie Guerrero was fresh off of losing the WWE title to JBL, so he was still considered a main event star, Rob Van Dam was still as popular as ever, and the Big Show was always going to be protected by WWE because he's really big.
Cena's inclusion was actually a late one as his spot was originally occupied by Rey Mysterio. However, Mysterio was booked in the WWE title match at the last second (something that happened quite often on Smackdown at the time) and needed a replacement. Only a few days before the event, Guerrero announced John Cena as his replacement, continuing Cena's rise towards becoming the Voldemort of WWE.
To the surprise of no one, the stacked babyface team wiped the floor with the goofs on the heel side following an Attitude Adjustment (then referred to as the FU) and a Frog Splash from Eddie onto Kurt Angle.
