10 Best Survivor Series Teams Of All Time

2. The Warriors (Ultimate Warrior, Kerry Von Erich, & The Legion Of Doom)

This team gets a high rank just simply because its name is so appropriate.

First you have the Ultimate Warrior, WWF world champion and conqueror of Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, supposedly the WWF's future in the 1990s. Then you have Kerry Von Erich, the son of Fritz Von Erich and member of one of the most legendary wrestling families of all-time. Also, in Dallas, he was known as the "Modern Day Warrior", linking him to the team name as well.

Of course, the Legion of Doom were known as the Road Warriors in the NWA and, actually, the WWF continued to introduce them as "Road Warrior Hawk, Road Warrior Animal... the Legion of Doom" during their WWF run.

Awesome name aside, the Warriors were a fairly potent team in 1990. Warrior had just won the world title a few months earlier, Von Erich was getting his first shot on a national stage as the "Texas Tornado", and the Legion of Doom were already one of the most legendary tag teams in wrestling history.

At the Survivor Series, they did battle with Mr. Perfect and the Demolition trio (Ax, Crush, Smash). While it was kind of a foregone conclusion that Warrior was going to win, it was still a great experience to see all of the territorial legends in the ring at one time.

Side note: If you want to depress yourself, notice that only Animal remains alive out of the four competitors on the babyface side.
