Penta and Tiffany Stratton were NOT the originally scheduled MITB winners.

With Penta and Tiffany Stratton walking out of Money in the Bank with briefcases to their name, it turns out that the two were not WWE's originally intended winners.

Per False Finish, original plans called for it to be Bron Breakker and Roxanne Perez who would win their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches.

For most fans, when looking ahead to the Money in the Bank line-up, Bron and Roxanne were a lot of people's favourites to emerge victorious in those ladder matches. However, WWE instead opted to shake up those plans and predictions by going in the direction of Penta and Tiffany Stratton.

As for what's next for those Money in the Bank winners, Penta has already put the World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Champion on notice, essentially saying that they won't see his cash in coming. In the case of Tiffany, it's expected she'll address her big MITB win on this week's SmackDown, though Raw did see it mentioned that Stratton suffered an injury at last weekend's PLE. While she did take one particularly rough-looking bump to the ringside area, Stratton did speak after Money in the Bank to say that she's okay, so it remains to be seen whether this 'injured' comment was simply part of a storyline or whether Tiffy is a little more banged up than she said.
