10 Best Tag Team Title Matches Ever
9. The Hardy Boyz Vs. The Dudley Boyz Vs. Edge And Christian - WrestleMania 2000
Heading into 2000, it was clear that a changing of the guard was in order for the tag team division. Although The New Age Outlaws were still champions, the feud between The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian was getting the lion's share of the attention in the division. When The Dudley Boyz beat the Outlaws for the World Tag Team Titles in February, they found themselves in the feud.
The result was the first-ever three team ladder match at WrestleMania 2000, built off the tag team ladder match that The Hardyz and Edge and Christian had five months earlier at No Mercy. Though not an official TLC match (that would come later), chairs and tables were involved, making the whole thing a wild scene.
The bout - often considered the best on a weak show - saw finishing moves galore, and plenty of big bumps with bad landings. The most memorable happened toward the end, when Jeff Hardy climbed a tremendous ladder in the aisleway and executed a Swanton Bomb off of it onto Bubba Ray Dudley, who was laid out on a table. With one member of each of their opponent teams taken out, Edge and Christian were able to grab the titles together.
