10 Best Tag Team Title Matches Ever
7. London And Kendrick Vs. MNM Vs. The Hardy Boyz Vs. William Regal And Dave Taylor - Armageddon 2006
Though WWE's tag team division wasn't emphasized much in the mid-2000s, a couple of truly talented teams emerged in the form of MNM and Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Both were lighter, high-flying tandems in The Hardy Boyz mold, and London and Kendrick ended up reigning as WWE Tag Team Champions for 11 months.
During their reign, they faced challenges from MNM (who had split up and gotten back together), a reformed Hardy Boyz, and William Regal and Dave Taylor. None of those teams were able to wrest the titles from London and Kendrick, but at Armageddon 2006, they all got a chance in a four-way ladder match.
The bout would become infamous for taking the brutality too far. Late in the match, a seesaw spot with a ladder sent it crashing up into the faces of Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro. While Nitro was able to take the move safely, Mercury's face was smashed by the ladder, badly injuring him. Nevertheless, the level of action made for a great contest, with London eventually grabbing the belts as Kendrick fought off Regal and Taylor.
