10 Best Team Players In Survivor Series History
5. Shawn Michaels
It’d take a bold man to opt against having Shawn Michaels on his Survivor Series team, given that he's racked up a mighty 12 eliminations to his name. Now, that figure may not necessarily be quite as many as the Big Show’s, but what makes Michaels a more desirable ally is that he's never turned on his teammates before.
Or at least, he hasn’t done so intentionally. There was the incident in ’94 when he inadvertently clocked Diesel with some Sweet Chin Music when Razor Ramon ducked at the last minute, and that kerfuffle did lead to his side’s eventual demise and defeat. Other than that though, Michaels has been one of the most memorable performers in Survivor Series history.
On top of the dozen eliminations he's clocked up, he’s also ended up on the winning side on five separate occasions. However, he’s also been eliminated a joint-record eight times (tied with Kane, of all people) so perhaps I’m being a little generous here.
Still, while he may not have been one for surviving all the way to the end of the match, he was always a safe bet to pick up some scalps before eventually bowing out—making him something of a strategic choice of teammate, I guess.
