OK, so, last year, easily one of the best events of the entire WrestleMania weeks was Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport. Basically a special attraction shoot-style event where big name wrestlers from across the globe absolutely beat the piss out of each other. And I mean absolutely.

Now if you’re not entirely sure what shoot style is, how do I describe it? Think of it like a human cockfight, between massive blokes practically trying to murder each other but, it’s not entirely real so you’re allowed to enjoy it rather than worrying the police will raid it.

Last year’s main event between Riddle and Minoru Suzuki still keeps me up at night and while the former has had to depart for WWE, his place on both the poster and the main event is taken by Josh Barnett. Yes, the former UFC Champion. Yeah.
