You can keep D-Generation X versus the Brothers of Destruction, or the Hounds of Justice going head-to-head with the Dogs of War, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are in the midst of the best feud in WWE right now.

We were all concerned following SummerSlam 2018 and Lynch's heel turn that WWE would drop the ball with this potentially white-hot storyline and either make the Irish Lass Kicker into a cookie-cutter bad guy or Charlotte Flair into the female Roman Reigns.

Thankfully, WWE eventually recognised the reaction Becky Lynch was getting from the crowd despite her words & actions; she subsequently won the SmackDown Women's Championship at Hell in a Cell, retained at Super Show-Down, and heads to WWE Evolution as the Conor McGregor of sports entertainment.

One of the 'Four Horsewomen' to make the transition from NXT, Lynch was in danger of becoming an afterthought in 2018, but her transformation into an arrogant, self-centred champion has catapulted her to the top of the card and the front of fans minds.

Her anti-hero status has been compared to Stone Cold Steve Austin in his heyday by her peers, and her brawls with Flair (complimented by brilliant wrestling ability) are essential viewing on the blue brand.

If you needed any more evidence as to why this rivalry is such a highlight, just listen back to the reaction the two got on SmackDown 1000. They are a shining light in 2018, and WWE have finally acknowledged it.
