The Celtic Warrior would get revenge, however, defeating Triple H in a brutal Street Fight at Extreme Rules 2009, a beating which wrote the Game off television for ten months. Now a serious force to be reckoned with, Sheamus went on to claim his first WWE Championship by the end of the year, defeating none other than John Cena in the process. Without sounding too cynical, is it too outlandish to suggest that Sheamus and Triple H may have stayed good backstage pals in the years since?
